	Our house is situated just outside the little town of Vicchio in a valley called the Mugello, North of Florence. You can easily reach us from the Bologna/Florence motorway, exiting at Barberino del Mugello, and following the signs first for Borgo San Lorenzo, then Vicchio. From Florence you drive out on a road called Via Faentina to Borgo San Lorenzo and then Vicchio. Vicchio also has a railway station. The line is Florence/Borgo San Lorenzo (Via Pontassieve). Here you can try out several of our instruments, including an Italian harpsichord (Grimaldi), a French double manual harpsichord (Taskin), a Cristofori pianoforte and a chamber organ. You can also use our facilities to make a high definition recording for a CD etc. (the examples on this site were recorded here)
	Vicchio is chiefly noted as the birthplace of the painter Giotto, but if you want a breath of fresh air after the heat and dust of Florence, Vicchio is the ideal place .Nearby is the Medici castle of Cafaggiolo (the Medici came from the Mugello).
